Prairie Women's Sewing Circle
The club focuses on the historical aspects of quilting in America, project tips and ideas, and the concept of "make-do" as a form of adding a scrappy and unique feel to your project. There is a new small quilt project each month. We meet the third Tuesday of each month, January through June.
Two sessions: 10:30-12:30 or 1:30-3:30
$40.00 class fee + $40.00 pattern fee
Patterns only for pick up or mail: $40.00 + mailing cost


 



Crazy in the 21st Century
Taught by Suz Litzsinger, this class will emphasize the techniques of crazy quilting in two parts: first, constructing blocks, and second, refining embellishment skills. There will also be some discussion on the final stages of your project. The class is being offered Saturday February 11th, 2012, from 10:30 am to 5 pm. The pictures below showcase some of the class samples by Suz- you can get an idea of the range of materials and embellishment techniques available in crazy quilting.
