For a flat monthly fee of $14.95 (plus tax, if applicable), members will receive a selection of new fabrics each month, with a focus on 1800's reproductions and Civil War era fabrics. These will be shipped right to your door and will include 8 fat eighths of featured fabrics. Fabrics will vary each month ranging from specific collections to themed groups or color palettes hand-picked for you!

Your membership also entitles you to several other perks, including:

* 10% off fabric yardage (excludes already discounted fabrics and pre-cuts)
* 25% off fabric yardage for each of the featured fabrics during that month, while supplies last

Two Thimbles Quilt ClassesBlock in Time Club with Susan Standley

Travel back in time for a lesson on quilt piecing and fabric history with Susan Standley, who will lead a monthly discussion on quilt designs and fabric types from the late 1800’s. During this six month series, we’ll go in-depth with two blocks touching on the block history and construction techniques. Topics will include fabric styles, dyes, historical colors and women’s history relevant to the time period. Club membership will include a curated fabric pack each month as well special items of interest curated by Susan.

Two Thimbles ClassesHand Quilting with Sharon Tucker

Come spend the afternoon learning the tips and tricks of hand quilting with NO hoop required. Sharon will show you how to baste your quilt top and hand quilt in your lap. Learn to master the gentle rhythm of "rocking the needle" to create your own hand quilted pieces. We will cover traditional quilting ideas, tools used, marking methods and products, and will discuss some of the trending ideas of big stitch quilting that are currently happening in the quilt world.

Love wool and fun, fancy stitches?! Join Cathy for this "Sue Spargo inspired” Woolie Birds class. In this 3-month series you will learn some new stitches and experiment with different and unique base/foundation fabrics. This class is quite suitable to beginner stitchers and will help take comfortable stitchers to the next level!

Beginning Piecing with Jo Baner

I think the only thing better than receiving a lovingly, handmade quilt is giving one! If you like to sew but have yet to try your hand at quilt making, now is the time! Learn accurate and safe rotary cutting, color value, pressing vs. ironing, accurate 1/4” seam allowance and other quilt-piecing-basics in this two-part class with local artist and instructor, Jo Baner. This two-part introduction to quilt piecing will have you well on your way to a completed quilt top and ready for more quilting activities!
Included in your class fee is the Stepping Stones quilt pattern and 3.5 yards of fabric of your choice to complete your quilt top.

Better Binding with Jo Baner

You selected the most fabulous fabrics, pieced to perfection your quilt top and quilted a masterpiece! Now what?! You gotta bind your baby…that’s what! Jo’s going to be back in the 2T Classroom to not only help you put the finishing touches on your project but will share her tips, tricks and techniques for better binding. Learn double fold, bias and machine binding in this 3 hour session.

Two-Colored Binding with Jo Baner

Have you always wanted to know how to make those two-colored bindings that you see on so many wall hangings and art quilts? Well, here’s your chance to learn how to make a two-colored binding (also known as “flange” binding) all in one piece and all by machine…no handwork needed here!! This is a technique class that will use a small sample…you don’t have to rush to finish a quilt to bring to class! Some previous binding knowledge/experience is appropriate for this class. Brand new to binding?! See Jo’s “Better Binding” Class above!

Walking Foot with Tonya Alexander

Come and take a walk on the wild side - of machine quilting! We'll explore all the ins and outs of quilting with the walking foot on your domestic machine and go way beyond tried and true stitch in the ditch. Topics include basting, set-up, and design decisions as well as several techniques to use walking foot quilting in your projects. We'll sample match stick, wavy echo, big spiral, and many more.

Flora Table Runner with Tonya Alexander

Fresh from Tonya’s brand new, just released book - String Theory 2.0! This is a fun project and requires only a small amount of scraps to make a lovely addition to your table! Lean towards Fall colors (like our sample) or maybe Spring colors to make it your own! In this class Tonya will demonstrate a fun technique used for fusible appliqué that can be hand stitched or done by machine. Finished project size: 18.5” x 42.5”.

Petal Pusher Quilt with Tonya Alexander

Also from Tonya’s just released book - String Theory 2.0! Mix some of your favorite scrap strips with a fast and fun fusible appliqué technique to make Petal Pusher! In this project, Tonya will help you to combine your beautiful scrap strips into jumbo-sized orange peel blocks. Two different size options to choose from: Large throw 60.5” x 60.5” or a baby size of 40.5” x 40.5”.

Curvy Log Cabin with Tonya Alexander

The block for every quilter's bucket list!  The traditional log cabin quilt block has so many variations and endless possibilities. Whether you've made log cabins before and want to try a different look or this is your first time, this Curvy Log Cabin table runner class is just for you!  This table runner features a curved rendition of the classic but there’s no curved piecing, just the fun and easy optical illusion of curves! It’s also a brilliant way to bust through your scraps!!

ENGLISH PAPER PIECING 1.0 with Sharon Tucker

Add another technique to your quilting bag of tricks by stepping into the world of EPP. This is a very portable technique, is great for the “slow stitching” movement that is happening now and is a relaxing way to stitch some trickier block shapes. This class will cover the basics and introduce you to the tools of the trade and basic construction of paper piecing methods.

SCRAP SCIENCE CLUB with Tonya Alexander

Join Tonya for a 3 month series in the scrap lab (aka Two Thimbles classroom)! Tonya will share Stash Lab scrap results and include her analysis and theory on the power of contrast, creating color-blocks and developing color stories! Each session will include project ideas, block instruction, activities and sew-time to build fabric confidence. The club will be a casual learning environment with an emphasis on fun and sharing - you won't want to miss this chance to get some great ideas to bust the scrap bucket!

Design Confidence Play with Francie Gass

Would you like to have more confidence in your color and design choices? Come play with Francie and explore five principles of quilt design: Color, Value, Scale, Unity and Balance. You will practice creating balanced designs quickly using your scraps. Francie will share tips and tricks that will encourage daily stitching of small “quiltlets” that will lead to big success! She’ll share how she’s even made a memory book from scraps! This is a two-session, relaxing, hand stitching class…no machine needed! Beginning stitchers welcome!!

Create your own project and build a quilt during this 6 month class series combining multiple techniques (applique, English paper piecing, patchwork, etc.)!  Start with what inspires you; a vintage quilt, fabulous fabric, or a special focal block and design as you go.  Class time will include show and tell and individual consultation with guidance for design possibilities. Inspiration and motivation to help you personalize and design a quilt that's all your own. Appropriate for quilters with some prior experience.

• All class fees must be paid at the time of registration. Space will not be held without full payment.
• Telephone reservations are accepted with Visa or MasterCard payment, or sign up online!
• Registration fees are refunded if minimum enrollment is not met.
• Supply list provided at time of registration.

Cancellation policy:
We commit to our teachers a week in advance of the class. If you cancel a class at least 7 days
prior to class, your registration fee will be refunded as a store credit / gift certificate of equal value.

If less than 7 days remain until class and cancellation is necessary, you may send a friend in your

• Class discount of 15% on fabric, tools and supplies purchased for your class at Two Thimbles.
(Class discount applies to supply list items and fabric for the class project. Discount does not
apply to kits.)

• Know your sewing machine and make sure it is in good working order.
Bring basic sewing supplies appropriate for the project.

• Feel free to bring a lunch or snacks.

• To help ensure that everyone has an enjoyable class experience, please:

o Limit your use of perfumes as others may have allergies/sensitivities
