For a flat monthly fee of $14.95 (plus tax, if applicable), members will receive a selection of new fabrics each month, with a focus on 1800's reproductions and Civil War era fabrics. These will be shipped right to your door and will include 8 fat eighths of featured fabrics. Fabrics will vary each month ranging from specific collections to themed groups or color palettes hand-picked for you!

Your membership also entitles you to several other perks, including:

* 10% off fabric yardage (excludes already discounted fabrics and pre-cuts)
* 25% off fabric yardage for each of the featured fabrics during that month, while supplies last
* A monthly newsletter sent with your package, with advance notifications of upcoming fabrics, events, and other happenings at 2T

Come join Cathy for another stitching adventure! This time she’ll be teaching traditional embroidery stitches, some three-dimensional stitches and even some crayon tinting. In this 3 month class series you’ll be working from the Floss Garden Wreaths pattern by Meg Hawkey and Crabapple Hill Studio. The pattern includes nine gorgeous wreaths…choose to make just one or all nine like Cathy!

Love wool and fun, fancy stitches?! Join Cathy for this "Sue Spargo inspired” Woolie Birds class. In this 3-month series you will learn some new stitches and experiment with different and unique base/foundation fabrics. This class is quite suitable to beginner stitchers and will help take comfortable stitchers to the next level!

Hope's Journey Sewcial hosted by Sharon Coots

Come and join the camaraderie of a sewing bee! Sharon Coots will host our group on a monthly journey of small piecing based around the new release "Hope's Journey" by Betsy Chutchian. You can choose which blocks, how many, whether to make the small quilts and the big quilt or pick and choose blocks and projects as you go! Lots of options to create a quilt that fits your interest. The sampler style large quilt reminds me of the fabulous "Gone To Texas" quilt and is versatile in both size and setting layouts so you can really create a unique quilt that works for you. We'll have some added fun each month with history lessons, show and tell, a few guest speakers and lots of ideas to keep you sewing all year long!

A great opportunity to refine your sewing skills and enjoy the tradition of sewcial sewing. If you can't participate in our monthly sewcial, we'll be offering some fabric starter bundles and monthly small quilt kits for our long distance stitchers.

Beginning Piecing with Jo Baner

I think the only thing better than receiving a lovingly, handmade quilt is giving one! If you like to sew but have yet to try your hand at quilt making, now is the time! Learn accurate and safe rotary cutting, color value, pressing vs. ironing, accurate 1/4” seam allowance and other quilt-piecing-basics in this two-part class with local artist and instructor, Jo Baner. This two-part introduction to quilt piecing will have you well on your way to a completed quilt top and ready for more quilting activities!

Better Binding with Jo Baner

You selected the most fabulous fabrics, pieced to perfection your quilt top and quilted a masterpiece! Now what?! You gotta bind your baby…that’s what! Jo’s going to be back in the 2T Classroom to not only help you put the finishing touches on your project but will share her tips, tricks and techniques for better binding. Learn double fold, bias and machine binding in this 3 hour session.

Walking Foot with Tonya Alexander

Come and take a walk on the wild side - of machine quilting! We'll explore all the ins and outs of quilting with the walking foot on your domestic machine and go way beyond tried and true stitch in the ditch. Topics include basting, set-up, and design decisions as well as several techniques to use walking foot quilting in your projects. We'll sample match stick, wavy echo, big spiral, and many more.

Bag Techniques with Cheryl Kuczek of Paradiso Designs

In this hands on class, learn to sew pleather with confidence to enhance your handbag creations. Cheryl will walk students through the different types and grades of pleather as well as the basics of cutting pleather, the correct tension and best stitch length, among other skills. You'll also learn the framework of creating a handbag from scratch. Students will learn the process of base building and gain knowledge of basic handbag design.

Mindful Mending with Kami Quessenberry

Learn to creatively repair and refresh your items that need mending in this class, guided by Jenny Cardon's book, "Visible Mending." You will learn stitchery and embroidery techniques that are great for revamping or repairing your favorite denim, sweaters and more.

Celebrate Spring by learning a new stitching skill! Jane is back to share her incredible English Paper Piecing expertise with us. If you've ever wanted to try your hand (pun totally intended) at this wonderful hand-work craft...this is the beginner class for you! It's also a great way to use up some of that scrap bin you've been collecting for just the right project! For one day only, so don't miss out.

Great things really do come in small packages! Are you intrigued by small quilts but leery of those teeny-tiny fabric pieces?! Jane Buys will be in our classroom on Friday, May 18th to help you "master the smalls" with this lovely Shaded-Nine-Patch quilt. She'll be sharing her tips and expertise to help you refine your piecing skills. Class time will focus on the finer points to improve your accuracy in cutting, piecing, pressing and how to "set" the blocks. Choose your favorite design layout and learn a bit about color value. Sewing machine required. Class suitable for comfortable beginners!

SCRAP SCIENCE CLUB with Tonya Alexander

Join Tonya for a 3 month series in the scrap lab (aka Two Thimbles classroom)! Tonya will share Stash Lab scrap results and include her analysis and theory on the power of contrast, creating color-blocks and developing color stories! Each session will include project ideas, block instruction, activities and sew-time to build fabric confidence. The club will be a casual learning environment with an emphasis on fun and sharing - you won't want to miss this chance to get some great ideas to bust the scrap bucket!

Two Thimbles Quilt Shop Classes8-Point Star with Jane Buys

Join Jane for this 3 month series where she'll share her tips and tricks for combining points and assembly methods for the sometimes-tricky-to-tackle 8-point star! This class allows you to choose your own pattern and design (Carpenter's Star, Lone Star or Le Moyne Star are some examples) and construction method (hand stitch, machine stitch or English techniques). Please choose your pattern, fabrics and construction method prior to class. This class is appropriate for quilters with some prior handwork experience.

Create your own project and build a quilt during this 6 month class series combining multiple techniques (applique, English paper piecing, patchwork, etc.)!  Start with what inspires you; a vintage quilt, fabulous fabric, or a special focal block and design as you go.  Class time will include show and tell and individual consultation with guidance for design possibilities. Inspiration and motivation to help you personalize and design a quilt that's all your own. Appropriate for quilters with some prior experience.

• All class fees must be paid at the time of registration. Space will not be held without full payment.
• Telephone reservations are accepted with Visa or MasterCard payment, or sign up online!
• Registration fees are refunded if minimum enrollment is not met.
• Supply list provided at time of registration.

Cancellation policy:
We commit to our teachers a week in advance of the class. If you cancel a class at least 7 days
prior to class, your registration fee will be refunded as a store credit / gift certificate of equal value.

If less than 7 days remain until class and cancellation is necessary, you may send a friend in your

• Class discount of 15% on fabric, tools and supplies purchased for your class at Two Thimbles.
(Class discount applies to supply list items and fabric for the class project. Discount does not
apply to kits.)

• Know your sewing machine and make sure it is in good working order.
Bring basic sewing supplies appropriate for the project.

• Feel free to bring a lunch or snacks.

• To help ensure that everyone has an enjoyable class experience, please:

o Turn off your cell phone
o Don’t bring pets or children
o Limit your use of perfumes as others may have allergies/sensitivities
